Richard Caunt, contacted TAG to help speed up communication at Rimmer Bros. with customers & suppliers. Rimmers use the Ecometry Mail Order And Catalogue System (MACS).
The Problem.
Rimmer Bros. wanted to automate sending MACS Quotations, P.O.s, Statements etc. to provide a better, faster response to customers & suppliers, and cut costs of communicating using manual faxing and post.
Now, communications at Rimmers use TAG software instead of manual methods & extra barcodes are even added to MACS warehouse documents too, using TAGforms printing software.
Documents are automatically intercepted by our software & converted into messages which are then sent by fax, email or networked printers instantly! Our clever software scans each document for a key code, e.g. account no., & uses this to find recipients & the message type.

The Solution.
Since 2001, Rimmer Bros. Have sent the majority of their business correspondence using TAG software. In addition to using TAG to send standard documents, Rimmers Bros. have used our software innovatively to:
Add barcodes to standard MACS collates
Send Shipment confirmations via email
Fax ‘hot print’ items such as MACS quotations
And through the use of our CTI product TAGjuggler Rimmers have been able to link their MACS system with their Avaya telephone system. When a customer calls their account details are instantly retrieved and shown!

By using TAG software a document can arrive at the customer or supplier almost immediately. Green Flag achieved faxing rates of 30 faxes per minute from their HP3000 systems; and emails can be sent even quicker. So your message arrives sooner and more reliably!
Each document that is transmitted electronically saves approximately £0.30 pence. Therefore once you have sent 27,000 documents you’ll have paid for the cost of the TAG document distribution software.
